Carpool: Depart Cedar Park at 8:00 AM

Let’s get out to explore another small town, before the heat gets to be too much. This time, the location is San Saba. Located just 75 minutes from Cedar Park, this small city hosts another county courthouse, and has lots of interesting older buildings and streets to explore.

Let’s plan to meet at 9:15 AM on S. Cherokee St. next to the courthouse. Here's a link to a Google map.

There is free public parking on N. Cherokee St.

We will wander about until 11, then re-group and head back to Lampasas for an early lunch (location TBD). We can follow that up by wandering around Lampasas, too, if there is interest.

For those that would like to carpool, let’s meet in Cedar Park for an 8:00 AM departure. A good spot is in the shopping center along 183A, north of Whitestone Blvd; location is just north of the Costco. Specifically, behind the McAlister’s, and in front of the At Home. There’s usually plenty of space in this area.
