Instructions for the 2024 Winter Pflugerville Library Show

Deadline for submission of digital images was Sunday, February 4.

Picture hanging date: Friday, February 16, 2:00 to 5:00 PM

Picture removal date: Friday, March 15, 1:00 to 5:00 PM

Current NAPfS members are eligible to show up to FIVE framed prints at the Winter Pflugerville Library Show. A theme is not required, but we challenge you to write a brief "artist's statement" about why you are choosing these images to display. Picture drop-off and picture hanging (with your help) will be 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, February 16 at the Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 Pfluger St W, Pflugerville, TX 78660 (MAP)  The show will close at 1 PM on Friday, March 15 and you should collect your pictures before 5 pm OR make advance pick up arrangement with the Show Coordinator.

  • You may only enter original art made by you. You may select recent images or images taken in the past.
  • Images that are not framed should be images on box canvas or metal prints.
  • Suggested maximum print size is 20 x 16 inches and minimum print size 8 x 10 inches. If you have a larger print size, please notify the show coordinator Clay Leben or Verlon Smith for an exception.
  • The picture should have a wire stretched across the back of the frame. The Library wire hanging system uses hooks that don't work with brackets or D-rings.
  • Photographer may include prices and contact information for title cards and handle the transaction directly. Also, remember that no works may be removed prior to March 16 show close regardless of any sale.
  • When you come to the Library with prints you will be asked to sign a Library Waiver/Release of Liability form.
  • No nudity in photos is permitted. Images depicting violence or other non-PG topics may be excluded. The final decision to hang the print rests with the library in any case and their decisions are final.
