Erik Kuna is an award winning professional aerospace photojournalist for and a photography educator for who’s passionate about landscape, aviation, astro and spaceflight photography. His goal is to create images that help educate and inspire people about the aerospace industry, our wonderful planet, the milky way galaxy and beyond while also motivating folks to learn more about the beauty of space. With over 25 years of experience in professional photojournalism, he has always been into photography, but his passion for spaceflight photography was ignited in 2015 by seeing the SpaceX Falcon 9 booster land successfully at night. He felt like from that moment, he had to be part of documenting and capturing the beauty and inspiration of spaceflight and share that with the world. If he’s not documenting humanities journey to the stars, he can be found capturing epic dark skies, awe inspiring landscapes, radiating deep space nebulas or pretty much any machine that that go fast.
